Teaching and AI

Brigham Young University faculty are exploring how artificial intelligence can thoughtfully support learning, teaching, and student engagement. This website is a resource designed to help you discover practical ideas, guiding principles, and emerging possibilities for using AI in ways that strengthen your teaching and align with BYU’s educational mission. Whether you are just beginning to explore these tools or looking to deepen your approach, we invite you to engage, experiment, and consider how AI might enhance learning in your own courses and programs.

Teaching consultants from the Center for Teaching & Learning are available to meet individually with instructors to discuss ideas, explore possibilities, and brainstorm teaching strategies that fit their specific courses, goals, and concerns. Whether you are considering a first step with AI or refining an existing approach, these consultations offer a collaborative space to think through how these tools can support meaningful learning. Contact your CTL Consultant directly or send an email to aiconsulting@byu.edu to setup a time to discuss AI in your teaching.
