Learning Suite Common Concerns
If Learning Suite stops in the middle of an exam, like if the page freezes or the browser closes, by design they can reopen the browser, log back into Learning Suite, and continue. The exam will continue where they left off. It is possible that one or two questions on a page may lose their responses, but all of the responses on previous pages will be saved. There is no need to reset the student's exam unless they have manually submitted or turned it in. Exams are not automatically submitted unless it is the time the exam closes.
If students run out of time but the exam has not officially closed, instructors can given individual or groups of students more time using the exceptions tab, or to all students by changing the time limit on the scheduling tab. Students can refresh their browser to show the additional time.
